The British Horse Society is the largest equestrian membership organisation in the UK. As a charity
the BHS is concerned with the welfare of equines, professional qualifications for the equestrian industry, safer and off road
riding and recreational competitions such as cross-Country and BHS TREC. The aim of this site is to keep you informed of the
activities of BHS Cymru to encourage interaction.

Cwm Derwen Riding Club is a small and friendly riding club based in Area 21, covering south Pembrokeshire and west Carmarthenshire,
affiliated to British Riding Clubs. The main aim of the riding club is to re-introduce people to the saddle, whilst providing
a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for people to learn and have fun in.

The discipline is known generally by its French name, Technique
de Randonnee Equestre de Competition (T.R.E.C.) . In BHS TREC competitions, there are basically four levels of competition,
with Level 1 being the simplest, and Level 4 the most challenging.

The purpose of Pembrokeshire Bridleways and Byways Association (PBBA) is to support, promote
and encourage the use of bridleways and byways throughout the county. PBBA are affiliated to the British Horse Society.

Coloured Horse & Pony Society

Established in 1983, CHAPS UK was set up with the mission “to Promote the Coloured Horse
and Pony in All Equestrian Spheres” – and that is exactly what it has done. The standard of our Coloureds has
increased beyond belief and we now have a gene pool of Graded Stallions offering a wealth of breeding opportunities to continue
this growth.
